Overview
Humanin is a 24-amino-acid mitochondrial-derived peptide (MDP) encoded by a short open reading frame within the mitochondrial 16S rRNA (MT-RNR2) region. In the research literature it is characterized as a cytoprotective, anti-apoptotic factor that interacts with Bcl-2-family proteins (BAX, Bid) and signals extracellularly through a receptor complex (FPRL1 and the trimeric CNTFR/WSX-1/gp130 receptor) via the JAK/STAT pathway.

FAQ
Each batch is produced by solid-phase peptide synthesis and released at typically ≥99% purity by RP-HPLC. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis with HPLC and mass-spectrometry (ESI/MALDI) identity data accompanies every order; independent third-party verification can be arranged on request.
Humanin is offered in 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg lyophilized vials. Minimum order quantity is 50 kits (500 vials). Larger volumes, bulk API and custom fill weights are quoted on RFQ.
Yes. As a China-based OEM and private-label manufacturer we support custom vial fills, labeling, boxing and documentation. Share your specification and artwork and we will confirm feasibility, lead time and pricing.
Product ships as a lyophilized powder, cold-chain where required, with a batch COA covering HPLC purity and MS identity. Supporting documents such as source and residual-solvent data are available on request. All material is supplied for research and laboratory use only.
No. Native Humanin is the 24-residue wild-type sequence (MAPRGFSCLLLLTSEIDLPVKRRA, CAS 330936-69-1). HNG / S14G-Humanin is a separate synthetic analog in which serine-14 is replaced by glycine, and it is sourced and quoted separately.
